OK, so ... where are they? Am I just being stupid or is it a problem with the Linux version? I can't figure out how to drag-and-drop the modes into the mini-map.
This. When you've opened the map modes with this button, just drag the ones you want into the boxes to the right of the map screen (max of 5).
I also tried preparing the the box before reaching the map mode step in the tutorial then continue to the step in question. The tutorial asks me to press the independent realm button, I press the shield icon I added earlier (which if I hover it tells me it's the independent realm button), but nothing happens and the tutorial will not continue.
Oh, I'm using Linux as well.
Skipped the first tutorial and continued until I reached the basic war tutorial. Once again I'm asked to press the independent realms button. This time when I press it, the map mode actually changes to show the independent realms view, but the tutorial nevertheless won't continue.
So it's probably a bug with the tutorial in Linux, then.
Ditto. Can't progress past Page 7 of the Basic - Introduction tutorial. This is NOT the way to make a good first impression. :-(
