[LINUX] Graphics Problems

Hey there

i just installed steam and crusader kings 2 on ubuntu 12.04. I got an intel i5 m560 and a nvidia 420 mgt (i installed drivers for it)

but unfortunately, i got some problems:

it's also lagging a lot, seems like it's executed by the intel graphics

Anybody got a clue how to solve this problem?

As long as you'r using the vendor video drivers, I can't really help with Linux, but there are some great guys over at the Paradox CK2 tech Support forum who do.

@Alex24, I'm having the exact same issue. Did you find a solution from Paradox Support? Their forum is a bit of a mess. My laptop is HP dv4 with 4 GB memory, Intel GMA X4500, and Intel i3. I just recently switched to 12.04. I used to run Starcraft 2 just fine on low graphics.Thanks for any help.

Make sure you are using the nvidia drivers and not the intel video. If you have the nvidia-utilities package, you should be able to open the control panel for the drivers. Type "nvidia" in the Dash and see what's there.
