What is the biggest duchy?
I know that there is a multitude of Duchies that have Six Counties, but I was wondering if Anyone knew what he largest Duchy is by Land.

Edit: Just for the Record, I do know how to play this Game, this Question was merely for personal Thought.

Think the two largest are Finland with 7, and Birjand with 8.

Birjand- way on the east edge of the map, in the sandy desert area in what is now southern Iran/Pakistan/Afghanistan. It's got really low supply limits (due to desert), but also high chance of getting demolished by Mongols. Challenging start, but can be fun.

county size isnt the best favtor, its the total number of holdings in all the countys in the duchy that will matter, finland is pretty barren as an example. you want holding density for taxable citys and churches and more barony levy.

Thrace is one the nicer duchys because Constaniople is pretty much one of the best countys in the game and the other two countys are holding rich, and the neighbooring duchies of Nikeia and Adrainipolis are also holding rich, and your usualy good techwise during all starts, and the tech leader in TOG .

The biggest, county wise, is Birjand. However, the one you want is Baghdad (in the 1066 start at least), starting with 29 holdings, the most in the game. It also has the highest maximum possible holdings, at 32.
