You must of been in a crusade, and if you were not the top contributor, or if someone else already held the kingdom of castille title then you dont get any land from it.
If the war is won, the holder of the relevant kingdom title will receive the territory if they are of the same religion as the attackers. If there is no same-faith holder, the land will be given to a claimant determined by the strength of the claim and the claimant's participation in the Crusade.
From the sound of it, there might have been a reformed pagan with a claim on the area and thus they recieved the territory. Great Holy Wars/Jihads/Crusades are not always good for getting land because anyone who joins has a chance for that land, not the person who called it.
Honestly its that or you accidently accepted a white peace and didnt realize it.
The point isn't which Pagan got it as I control almost all Pagans there is and the Empire reaches all the way from Russia through the Scandinavia to the whole of Great-Britain and Ireland to Portugal and Northern Germany, the point is that the areas didn't change ruler at all. I had captured 75% of the areas myself in the war too.
Oh yeah, got the Great Holy War Moral victory Authority as well.
