Won Holy War: Didn't get anything
So I started a Holy War for Castille against The Azamid Empire, which has about 1/3 of the Iberian Penisula in my game. I won the Holy War and it said, in the peace deal I was offered, that I would get every area the Azamid has in Castille, alot of prestige and piety. Didn't get anything but the prestige and piety, no areas.

Why?

Update: It was a Great Holy War as the Pagan Scandinavian Empire. It wasn't for the whole Azamid Empire, it was only for at the most 1/10 of its areas as The Azamid Empire is HUGE in my game. I was offered the peace that said I would get everything I started the Great Holy War for (everything the Azamid Empire had on the Ibearian penisula). I accepted the peace but the Azamid is still in control of the areas I should have got. And I am in control of basically every Pagan ruler as the Scandinavian Emperor.

My guess is that somebody else, not involved in your war but waging his own, occupied the titles that you were warring for. When you accepted the peace offer, your enemy was not in control of these holdings anymore and therefore he could not give them to you. Was that the case?

It could also be that in the few days it takes for the AI to respond to your demands , the war ended for some other reason, ranging from conversion, succession, or loss of titles.

Did you declare a holy war or was it a crusade?

You cant holy for an entire kingdom, you can only do it for a duchy.

You must of been in a crusade, and if you were not the top contributor, or if someone else already held the kingdom of castille title then you dont get any land from it.

it sounds like a regular holy war, so the only thing i could think that happen was what racketeer suggested, which that your enemy had two wars (one with you and one with another) and the other guy already captured those areas so your target couldnt give you those lands.

The Azamid Empire is Sunni btw.

Anyone?

From the wiki:
If the war is won, the holder of the relevant kingdom title will receive the territory if they are of the same religion as the attackers. If there is no same-faith holder, the land will be given to a claimant determined by the strength of the claim and the claimant's participation in the Crusade.

From the sound of it, there might have been a reformed pagan with a claim on the area and thus they recieved the territory. Great Holy Wars/Jihads/Crusades are not always good for getting land because anyone who joins has a chance for that land, not the person who called it.

Honestly its that or you accidently accepted a white peace and didnt realize it.

Best way to tell is look at your moral authority. You will probably have a -5% somewhere on the list.
NordicWildheart May 17, 2015 @ 1:20am
The thing is the areas didn't change owner at all. The same Azamid Empire Sunni leaders are still in control of the same areas as before the war. I had like +97% war score as the Azamid gave me a peace offer where it said I would get everything they owned in Castille + alot of Piety and Prestige. Only got the Piety and Prestige.

The point isn't which Pagan got it as I control almost all Pagans there is and the Empire reaches all the way from Russia through the Scandinavia to the whole of Great-Britain and Ireland to Portugal and Northern Germany, the point is that the areas didn't change ruler at all. I had captured 75% of the areas myself in the war too.

Oh yeah, got the Great Holy War Moral victory Authority as well.

Probably a bad bug.
