Only Daughters

Played two campaigns since the last patch and noticed that 9 out of 10 children born in the world are girls. This makes the game unplayable for me.

Just bad luck. i was playing earlier this morning, and had 7 sons (which with Ultimogeniture is a pain). I was trying to ally with Francia and Lombadry, but neither family had any daughters, just several sons. If you have the latest expansion, take the seduction focus and seduce a lot of people before you get married, that will greatly increase your chance of having a son.

It's all the RNG. As for having only daughters, who cares? Other than the ten point malus, there is no downside to having a female ruler, plus your sisters will never be able to press their claims. In fact, a woman ruler can help with vassal management, as any attractive traits will make your vassals like you better.

Unplayable because of your succession laws? Swap over to Elective unless you're saying that you're currently in negative standings with your vassal(s) which won't allow you to change said laws.

'two campaigns' - do you mean from start to finish? I.e. from 769/867/1066 to 1453?
'in the world' - does this mean you checked all the children of all the dynasties in the game at the time the game was about to be over? I.e. 31st of December 1452? Or did you only check the character finder? Because even in the tab that includes the characters outside your realm, it doesn't have dead characters.
I'm fairly certain you must have browsed the character finder at a point in time where the balance of living characters' genders was skewed.
Or like every other person who's replied to this thread suggests, you are in fact only talking about your own ruler's children.

Just to clarify I mean all families are having mostly daughters, HRE; three daughters, England five daughters, all the spanish states has only daughters. I am king of jerusalem; six daughters and one son. I could still play if my dynasty was plauged with girls but when the whole world is having daughters it got wierd.

Anyway problem resloved, I uninstalled unrelated mods which seemed to have affected it for some reason
