How do you kidnap someone?
I have seen people talk about this but have never noticed the option in game. I have every DLC but Charlamain...

It isn't an option. There is a random chance of it happening in seiges.

ah ok thanks.

I like that too but I have seen it only available in the game of thrones mod
Note the chance is very small at that and that it's most likely a count or commander of your enemies forces in battle. The only chance of capturing a lady is laying siege on one's county - but the chance remains just as big that you capture a dude or a child.

if you're pagan you can siege by a raid without declaring formal full war. a bit less risky.

Rulers (which I don't think you can capture while raiding) ususally ransom much higher; counts are 70-something, Dukes are over a hundred.

And courtiers can only be ransomed if they are rich enough to repay their liege. Poor courtiers will accumulate in your dungeon until you can sacrifice them if you're Norse, otherwise I guess you can either execute them, release them, or wait for the rats to eat them.

also keep in mind if you capture children from sieges then you can assign somebody from your realm to tutor them and possibly convert them to your religion and culture. its an effective strategy to go capture somebodys heir and other children in a raid and then educate them all and release them to convert their realm from the inside when they inherit

I always thougt it was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that an enemy ruler could still be ruling from X when you own it/captured it/fully occupied it and control it.
