i7 Quadcore @ 2.2GHz
8GB Ram
Nvidia Geforce GT 630M
1920x1080
And I get pretty decent framerate...
My config is slightly worse than yours (better processor but worse GPU, something that believe or not makes a difference because CK2 uses the GPU for fast calculations), and it goes without a hitch save for the obligatory autosave lag while Iron-manning.
when the game is paused:
FPS = 60
GPU = 50%
CPU = 10%
but then as I increase the game speed, the fps and GPU usage drop significantly
3 speed:
FPS = 30 to 40
CPU = 15%
GPU = around 40% with some 60% spikes
at this point the game map scrolling becomes very choppy
Full speed:
FPS = 15
CPU = 25%
GPU = 21%
at this point the lag is a bit annoying. Why does the GPU usage drop so much at high speed? I mean it never goes above 60 degrees and the same sort of thing happens with EU4, I might just be stupid, but I dont think thats suppose to happen.....
