Why is Only One Child Born at a Time?

I've always thought it odd that women in this game had only one child. Can anyone explain this to me? It's always rustled my jimmies.

You can have as many kids at once. I once had 4 kids very rare to happen. Most of time you just have twins at most.

I've played this game for over three hunrded hours, never once had any of my characters have more than one child. Everytime my wife gets pregnant, she gives birth to one at a time.

Just luck. I've never had triplets or more, but I routinely get twins.

there is a twin trait and the ai has them and they follow the same logic you do. You can look at people search tab and you should find twins in no time. I even married twin girls before as muslim and even more funny when they are lesbians.

Seriously though, I get twins all the time. It often frustrates me because the younger one often is some sort of genius while my heir is horrible. The icon for it looks like two bundled babies and should be where attributes such as "b@stard" are in the order, if I'm remembering correctly. Not sure if the character finder's slightly-buggy search field will find them, but it might be worth searching the world for "twin" next time you're in game. Best of luck!

Ah, too true! I've definitely had that happen with heirs: sometimes twins, sometimes not, but the younger son often gets the better traits.
