Which ethnicity do YOU think has the best looking old people? Women to be specific.

I am playing Crusader Queens mod, and just noticed that my Greek ethnicity (not culture, I mean race, born in blood) Empress is 77 years old and looks younger than the 50-year-old northern European (as in Irish by descent, or Scandinavian) vassals I have...

The Steppes women don't look like they instantly break their faces going from age 49 to 50 either.

I mean, the idea that redheads (i.e. northern Europeans) age too quickly is why I can't get into redheads, but I think I just discovered why I had a bit of an innate thing for Greeks :P

Of course, looking at all the notable women in modern times you'd think they take forever to age with how well they take care of themselves.

As for men, well, NONE of the ethnicities seem to really BREAK instantly at any age line for men's appearances. Personally I like the look of the Steppes men (well, I haven't gone further east than Crimea yet) in soldier uniform, and the standard European soldier uniform doesn't look bad either even when they get old (swap out the hat and you get Santa Claus).

Now, which ethnicities (and maybe outfits if you want to discuss that) do YOU find age the best, for men and women respectively? I did not find any such thread when trying a cursory search, so... here we go :D

The Byzantine/Iberian/Israeli group for sure. I like their faces best all around actually. Then comes the Africans (on the subject of appearing young anyway, I'm not so much into bald women), then the Persians, then the Muslim group/groups, then Germans/Slavs, then Scandinavians, then the genetic rejects that are the Celts (lets be honest, they all look like they're in a permanent state of allergic reaction), then the Indians (they look too leathery imo. It weirds me out).

I don't really like the look of Slavs or Scandinavians in this game in general.. Scandinavian, Russian, and Irish women just look way too cheeky like they have mumps or something, and Scandinavian women look like they have some kind of permanent skin condition similar to rosacea. It just puts me off. Also, German-English women look like they have some kind of bone wasting disease. As for the men, all of them of a given skin color generally look pretty much the same to me regardless of ethnic group.

Norse dlc women are the worst because they ALL look the same, save for hair. I also dislike the indians in general. They tend to look odd to me. Middle East has a tendency towards obesity. I like the French and German.

They're all pretty good now. I think the new Iberians are a high point, although the revised mediterranean portraits (as this thread suggests) tend to produce the most attractive people. The Persians are really good as well (although they have a tendancy to develop epic porn staches).

The Turkish portraits I didn't like originally (they have this weird, almost grey skin tone) but they've grown on me over time and their king/emperor tier clothing looks really cool. I tend to play Turkish characters more than anything else, so yeah..

Despite being quite old, the African portraits also hold up surprisingly well.

For women, it depends of the original portrait ( a fat face is ugly in every ethnicity )x ), but i agree that the greek/mediteranean women look better.
For men, i love the russian portraits. They are always badass, and the oldness give them the look of wise and strong lords.
