increase your centralisation in the laws menu

Find a better wife (with lots of stewardship), increase centralisation, focus on stewardship, get a higher title (duke, king, etc.)

Educate your heirs with stewarship-proficient mentors

I am the petty king of mumu or something
Wulfen Hyde Mar 7, 2015 @ 12:58pm
also how do I become a regular king?
Racketeer Mar 7, 2015 @ 1:10pm
Get 1 more duchy and create kingdom of ireland. The requirements are that you need to control 51% of de-jure land and hold two duchy titles to create a kingdom within these de-jure borders.

You can also use the found a new kingdom option in the intrigue menu, where the conditions are either 3 duchies or have a realm size of 35. That, and some gold and prestige I think

If you mean "petty" part - this is a cultural spelling of duke. Basically you are not a king, but a duke. Same as you are petty king of mumu whereas in fact it is duchy of munster

You will be able to hold 1 more province if you are a king

Feel free to post questions anytime, there are lots of people who can help

You might also want to check out CK2 wiki website, it has plenty of information and guides to all sorts of things. http://www.ckiiwiki.com/Crusader_Kings_II_Wiki

I restarted a bunch of times in the past because I would go to war and lose or one of my brothers would rise up and I couldnt put them down and another time my son killed me, my son always tries to kill me

While understandably you want to win, I advise you to play the game until you see "game over", as what makes CK2 really interesting is the fact that you can come back from literally every setback. At least, that's what I think.

how do you come back when you have an enemy army 2000 strong at your capitol and your army is dead?
Racketeer Mar 7, 2015 @ 5:53pm
You submit, swear fealthy and slowly build up your holdings. When the time is right, strike in the back and regain your rightful titles. That's how.

Gather gold, marry so that you get kinsmen ruling other countries. Breed generals and start factions. It is more interesting than world domination, I can tell for sure

its easier to play as the norwegian vassal of Mumu because you have a bigger army than your liege when you revolt but make sure you get a claim on the duchy first thats how i became the norwegian king of Irland not Ireland but Irland oh those norsemen leaving out one letter but then i managed to push into Scotland as king Harald "The Cruel" and I became the only nation in Brittania to stand against the English my point is its easier to play as the vassal hope this somehow helps :)
