How to convert back to Zoroastrianism? (after switching to end a holy war)
I converted my Zoroastrian ruler to Sunni to avoid getting steamrolled by the caliphate, now I can't find the decision to convert back. What are the requirements? All ck2 wiki states is that you need 1000 piety, which I have available. What am I missing?

I have all DLCs installed if that makes a difference, ruler has neither cynical or zealous traits.

Have SoA and your capital in a zoroastrian province.
Might be it got moved to diplomacy.

Yeah if your capital is Sunni, you dont have the option anymore.

You can try and teach your heir with a zoroastrian guy. If you are lucky, he will become zoroastrian.

Oh and if you became caliphate's vassal, you better hold on to your new faith. Otherwise they will just revoke your titles.

Ah! I didn't realize my capital province turned to Sunni along with my ruler converting, moving the capital to a Zoroastrian province fixed the issue. Thanks! :)

Works if it's in a zoroastrian court, if he's educated by zealous and theologian it's (almost?) certain.
