The Republic DLC - Bug
There seems to be an issue with the Republic DLC because some of the republics give me the "Don't allowed to play as republics" prompt. I can't play as any of them during the starting bookmark without issue but once I start trying to start a game from a different time, I began to have issues.

I can't seem play as Acona during any time period and Venice seems to be playable during the beginning and Latin Empire bookmarks. Genoa isn't always playable and neither is Pisa either.

A Republic is defined as a Duchy or higher tier level with a City as capital. Thus, Count-level Mayors are excluded from human play.
Are you sure it's not that problem?

Ancona is never playable due to being a count level mayor, which is the problem.
I'm not sure what the rest of the bugginess is though...
