I also thought that there was a way to "cheat" by changing the religion of an entire province (county), but the "cheating advice" didn't work for me.

You can change the religion of a province to the one of it's holder for sure. Event... 55001, I think? It also changes the culture to the holder's culture.
You need to find the ID of the province - the wiki has a list - then type "event 55001 [province ID]"

Don't think it has to wait till she takes over, if you type charinfo into the console you can find her ID. After that I believe the command is "religion [charID] [whatever religion you want]"

Thanks. I attempted to use the province IDs from the Wiki. I wrote kingdoms, duchies, counties, and scores of numbers. But they didn't work. And this was before India.

To change a specific characters religion, you first type this without quotation marks "charinfo 1"

Afterward, when you hover over the intended character their unique ID will pop up, to change their religion type without quotes "religion Unique ID norse_pagan" so, say you want to change to catholic and the user ID is 576899, enter this: religion 576899 catholic

Look up the religion name in common/religion.

Reformed tengri is for instance:
tengri_pagan_reformed

actually, since a few patches back charinfo is a toggle, so you don't need the 1 at the end. also when charinfo is on, the proper name of the religion is displayed in the tooltip when hovering over a religion, so you don't need to look it up.

Maybe via one of the 3.x events for mass consersion.
