Prepared invasion- how screwed am I?
My little country of Pomeralia is coming along nicely- I've managed to convert to christianity, set up alliances with Lithiuaia, Scotland, Lothrengia and Burgundy, who have all supported me in wars so far, which is nice. However, Sweden is now preparing an invasion, which I've never experienced before. I have two years to get ready. Depending on the wars that my allies are in, I may not get any real assistance from them.

So what do I have in store? Should I be expecting 10,000+ soldiers from across the Viking kingdoms to be coming at me? I can muster a few thousand at best, and probably won't have enough money for mers. Should I try assasinating the king of Sweden, which seems unlikely to work...? Should I just go ahead and swear fealty to a more powerful king and go back to being a vassal? Should I kill my wife and try to marry into one more alliance? All of my children have already been married off- my ruler and wife are pushing 70.

Or should I just let them come at me? I haven't been conquered in any game yet, so I don't know how likely I am to end up a vassal of Sweden if I lose. Am I more likely to be captured and executed along with my heir?

Anyway, any opinions/ advice would be appreciated- thanks in advcance!

just kill the person who is preparing it.

Kill him (plot or assassination) or you'll face 10k+ units.
If killing fails, do whatever you can for allies.
If you lose I'm pretty sure they will imprison/sacrifice you to their gods and give your titles to someone of Norse pagan belief.

It depends. I've prepared invasions with the entirety of the kingdom of Norway formed (under Fairhair) and the most I got in invasion troops was around ~4k, which along with my vassals' armies and my demesne went up to around ~7k - but this was just ten years into the game, so I'm not sure how it'll be for you.

save up money and let your mercenaries handle it.
You will be fine, you've got a few aces up your sleeve. Your allies should be good, and hopefully you have been improving your military tech accordingly. Turn off your mercenary filler, which should hopefully give you a bit of extra coin to save up. Your best bet will be to save as much money and piety as possible. Holy orders should be helpful to you. The key to victory will lie in your boats, stay out of your opponents way and let them sacrifice their lives while you wait off shore. DONT ask allies to join into your war if they are already at war, youve got one shot at calling them in. Although I havent been in your exact situation, as the Duke of Benevento I defeated the entire Byzantine Empire (3k v 20k) by waiting, liberating provinces they had siege d, and using my spymaster to sow dissent among his vassels. Granted, this took me 10 years to win (le sigh), but as long as you have boats you can always win. (Beat the Mongols as the Byzantines with the same method, my 22k against 80k horde). A good general can win any war no matter the odds in CKII with the right planning.
