what is with people resurrecting ancient topics for no reason lately
most people don't like japan and chinese history. We play strategy games for European history or American History mostly. ;))

Don't assume because YOU are ethnocentered and lack open-mindedness than everybody is like you.
I haven't played India or anybody close to it yet, focusing on the Norse after the old gods. Never played a Muslim nor a Byzantin either...
Yet I would support China all the way, even Japan or hell, South America.

Everything that ADD to the game is good. Everything wether it's land, Roleplay or whatever.
Crusader Kings II is no longuer just about Europe and Crusades.
It never really was to begin with. It was always more of a roleplaying/strategy game than anything.

And now, after India, after the Incas, after the Horse Lords, and all they released, you have to be straight ethnocentered not to understand than China IS a real possibility for many reason, like demands, market (yep, Chinese market, plus all those who do enjoy playing something different than European and christiandom).

The whole game is about the liberty to play whatever you want however you want.
And if China never did influence much Europe in the Middle-Age (other than trade, technology, and so on...which isn't just nothing)...Well there was never a Norse Empire who conquered Spain while Byzance was set up in England and so on...

So let people play and whish for whatever they like. Especially if it's ALREADY available in a DLC.
Amongst the at least three DLC already plan they have said than one will be way of life like...and another will be gigantic.

So we will see. In any case, the more there is, the more happy I am and interesting the game will be.
CK III won't be there anytime soon anyway. Besids, with all the DLC there is...I can't see how a vanilla CK III can compete...unless they include most of everything...

But they are really good at teasing us, so we'll see.^^

Christ, 3 more? I thought we were winding down.

When are they going to move to CK3 and just let the modders have the the rest of CK2?

Oh well, I guess they can squeeze a little more out of this engine, I have high hopes for that WoL-style DLC you mentioned.
I think it was WoL sized, not WoL-like. Also, in case anyone cares, there is a mod under development that adds China to the map, called Tianxia. They don't release new builds all that often, but it seems quite well made from what little they have shown off.

But, see, most people in the world like US and UK aren't IGMO's so they don't play or think like YOU. lol It's a UK/USA world, get used to it. :))

This is simply false. There's plenty of stuff you can add to CK2 that plain and simply makes it worse. Another land expansion into an area virtually nobody is going to interact with is one such thing. As you have already said yourself, you haven't played anything that's near India -- as far as the comments go, I think it's pretty safe to say that most CK2 players have seen, roughly, zero improvement from adding India to the game. There has been plenty of downsides though -- increased resource consumption and reduction in performance. These downsides affect everbody, not just people who play indians or even just the people who bought the expansion.

And now, after India, after the Incas, after the Horse Lords, and all they released, you have to be straight ethnocentered not to understand than China IS a real possibility for many reason, like demands, market (yep, Chinese market, plus all those who do enjoy playing something different than European and christiandom).
There's a lot of opposition to a china expansion, which I assume, is one of the major reasons we haven't seen it yet. The added value to a player is next to nil. I predict (with all the problems of predicting the future) that adding yet another DLC which adds nothing to the majority of players will simply hurt Paradox too much to make it worth while. There has been a lot of raised eyebrows on all of those expansions you mentioned too -- I think a lot of people are getting quite fed up with being ignored on which topics Paradox choose to release DLCs on.

The whole game is about the liberty to play whatever you want however you want.

The game is many things to many people -- to me it's a world conquest game, with the added complexity of inter- and intrarealm intrique. Which parts of the world affected which, in real life history, is not reallyt part of my game. Using history to justify that one part of the world should be left out or not is probably not the best idea, since this is not a history simulator (if you want a history simulator, read a book).

Having voiced, yet again, my opposition to having a China expansion of CK2, I'd like to, again, point out that I'm not opposed to have a CK2 in China. China is large enough, complex enough and rich enough, that it requires it's own seperate game. I simply don't think that China in CK2 is going to be a good thing for anyone -- if you'd like to see China in CK2, consider lending support for a completely seperate game instead.
Yeah a world WITHOUT china or Japan. lol Good point. ::))

For the same reason they aren't adding Tibet in the expansion Rajas of India. It is because the government type of China is incompatible with that of Europe, and the game designers see that as something that could not be added to the game at the current time. Maybe they will add it eventually, but that's the reason why they haven't so far.
You are right. The government type of china is different. We don't have the stable Aristocracy. The noble in china depend on test not on blood. For now I only hope I can see china in CK in my life

You mean like Chinese wiping out over 70-million people under Chairman Mao?

Or like killing/maimng up to Thousands at Tienanman square massacre (and as many students/people still unaccounted for)?

Or like the random shooting deaths by Chinese soldiers in Tibet?
