Paradox Interactive folder not in Documents. How to install mods?
Hey there,
I recently got a new computer running on Windows 8 and have been having a few problems installing mods. I racked up 196 hours of ck2 gameplay on my old pc and I always used the ck2plus mod. But when I installed the mod this morning and went to unzip the file I realised that there is no paradox interactive/ crusader kings II folder under my documents anymore? I was wondering if this was a problem exclusive to myself or if anybody else on windows 8 has experienced it too?
Any suggestions as to how to fix this and install the mod would be really appreciated.

Run the game once. This folder (and it's content) is pretty important for the game since it stores data about your DLCs and settings.

^ that. the folder isnt there until you run the game for the first time and the game creates it. alternatively you could probably just copy it over from your old pc

Thanks everybody for your responses. Unfortunately it didn't work but I managed to fix it by downloading DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer from the microsoft website. After that the paradox folder appeared under documents and I was able to extract the mod.
