Nomad goverment tips.
I just bought the Horse Lords DLC because I loved to play as the nomadic tribes. But this update really kicks my ass. Everything seems so hard. I tried playing as a Khan under a Khagan just learn how it works and I just have no idea what to do. I have like 700 guys when the people around me have like 2000 (Khazaria, Bolghar, Kirghiz).

Do anyone have any tips for a newcommer like me?

Nomads depend a lot of prestige and emtpy holdings. You can also war your fellow clans if you click on their leader and set a feud.

I am not sure if prestige or population is the reason you dont have a larger army. My guide will help you figure out how to increase population, but if you need help with prestige you can do that a number of ways.

sending your child off to be a mercenary is a good way to build prestige and getting a war horse and raiding your neighbors also helps a lot. As a nomad you can raid the clans you are feuding with as well as neighbors outside your current khaganate that are your same religion.

Upgrade your capitol holding a lot, that gives you a lot of bonuses and will increase your population so you can hire more troops.

This is really the basics of what you need to do:
1. raid until you can upgrade your capitol's population buildings a few times and/or buy more troops that cost prestige.
2. County conquest any of your niehgbors as much as possible and if they have any holdings (castles. temples, cities) burn those down. Empty holdings increase your population.
3. The Khaganate goes to the clan with the most prestige so, send your heirs to be mercs and build up your clans territory until you become the heir of the current Khaganate. Once he dies you will take control once he dies you will take control of your country and will have to deal with keeping the clans happy
