Can't find the "common" folder anywhere on my computer
I'm kinda at my wits' end here, so please forgive any stupid questions I inevitably ask. I'm not tech savvy at the best of times.

I can't find the common folder for the vanilla game anywhere on my computer. I can get to documents/Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings II just fine, but the common folder simply isn't there. When I do a search, all I can get to are the common folders for mods I've downloaded. I'd like to establish that I have found the common folder in the past, looking up province IDs and the like.

See, I can run the game, so I assume the folder must be somewhere. Since I play off a communal laptop, my first thought was that someone might have deleted it, but I would've thought that would make it impossible to play. Perhaps most frustratingly, I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game to no avail. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Gamefiles it self are stored in under Steam, this is always the case. Personal data such as mods, settigns and saves are keept in the documents folder.

Path to is should be something along the lines of;
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Crusader Kings II

if you right click the game in your steam library, properties (at the bottom), local files tab, then 'browse local files' its right there

Probably the administrator made the folders hidden on purpose.
