Don't play with cheats, they spoil a great game.
I know about charinfo, but what about anything else? Do I have to type say <charinfo> ?
Although I do admit I use cheats to give me an advantage, I compensate by making the game harder sometimes. For example, if I am Byzantine Empire, I would often change characters so that I could launch revolts and invasions against myself.
Type charinfo and press enter, you'll have enabled it.
Hover the mouse over the desired character's portrait, you'll see the character ID (for example, 1111).
Type add_stewardship 1111 +2, and voila, free +2 Stwardship (for example).
I know it's nice holding more land and gaining more gold, but the game is strongly balanced on the usual ratesand works extremely well on that. Give it a try, it's really not that hard, and you might find yourself becoming a great manipulator. :)
Console free is idealistic yet when I get an unrealistic doomstacks out of nowhere I cash up and merc the .... out of them , then go back to a semi realistic game. It is a game, not reality.
Landless adventurers.
Also, if you really want console commands just google CK2 console commands. Coming to a forum is about the stupidest way to get an answer.

That is your opinion, some people would call it customization. If you don't like it then don't do it, but stfu.
That said, a less gamey way to make rulers better is to always educate your primary heirs yourself (except as noted below), including the elder children of your adult heirs. When given a choice by the events, give them the traits which add to Stewardship (or whatever your goal is). For Stewardship, you want Temperate, Diligent, Patient, Just and Ambitious. But be wary of ambitious, it can lead to problems. Also grab Gardener if an opportunity event for that arises.
Inherited traits like Genius or Quick help as well, which require planning ahead and marrying someone with one of those traits into your line and hoping to get lucky when a child is born. If you have one of the stewardship education traits, (the series from Indulgent Wastrel to Midas Touched), then there is a good chance you will pass it on to the child you educate when he or she reaches adulthood.
It can take some work to get all of these things into your blood line. If your initial ruler doesn't have Midas Touched, marry him to someone who does. Then have that person educate your heir, so the Midas Touched has a chance to pass on to the heir. Then marry that heir to someone with genius (or quick), so that trait enters the bloodline. If you get lucky, the result will be a third generation with both Midas Touched and Genius. When that person becomes ruler, have him educate his future heirs. That will pass on if you're lucky both Midas Touched and Genius, and you can now control the other traits like Temperate as well. If you don't feel lucky, you can always save before the birth and do the retire/reload shuffle until you get the result you want. It's more fun to let the random wheel of chance fight you for control of your bloodline, though.

I do not shut the ♥♥♥♥ up, I give my honest opinion, without insulting, as so should do you. Thanks. :)
