CK2 Error! Please Help!

I just got CK2 and am really excited to play it but everytime it gets past loading sounds this error message pops up.

"Runtime Error!

Program ...s (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\CrusaderKingsII\ck2.exe


This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information."

anyone know how i can fix this?

i have had this for some time now, and i am getting the same error.

Please try installing:

First: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5555

After that: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=8328

Then: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35
(If that doesn't do anything then http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109 )

Then: visit the Windows Update site and allow it to apply all .NET updates/patches it wants to, for all .NET versions.

If your on OS 32 , it's beaucse last update got ram optimize problem .
Dev work on it already . for the moment , you can use the beta 2.1.5.4 wrote on top of the page on this forum .

i deleted the CK folder in my docs and then did a "clean" install. worked fine after that. Thanks everyone for the quick fix and help.
