the English melting pot
I'm the ruler of Brittania, which includes Andalusia, Burgundy, Jerusalem and Anatolia, post 1100. As i began as an anglo-saxon count in the Charlemange start, there has been no norman invasion. I am interested in becoming English and have been reading some about the English melting pot event. I am however unsure how to cause it.

I read somewhere that your main title needs to be king of England, not higher, and that creating the norman is a pain.
i am currently educating some french nobility in Burgundy with norse culture, but that is still a work in progress.

Anyway, i was wondering if it's true you need to be king of England for it to work, Can i do it by making some of my Dukes norman? how long can i expect it to take for both the Norman and English culture to form?

You need to be Norman and own land within de jure England post 1,100. That's it.
MTTH is 100 years for each character meeting the requirements. Can be reduced to around 1/3 by having a decent Learning skill on said characters.
