Fabricating Claims

Im trying to do the fabricate claims cheat using the 'event 913' code and it keeps fabricating a new claim on an area of land thats already mine, ive tried moving the chancellor to the areas i want to claim and this does not change it. Any ideas?

you have to use the charactor ID of your chancellor. without it it will do the claim where your character is

There is a cheat that you can command an army with your character, move it to the land where you want the claim and do event 20131(land claim) and event 20133 I think is for duchy claim. :) Hope it helps.

Why not this way:
'claim <title_ID>' To claim a land/title (look it up in \Program Files\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II\history\titles\ or in landed_titles.txt) For exemple : claim c_koln

I know you figured this out, but for future reference events like this that are designed to be fired on a councilor have to fire for that councilor, so in your case when you fired the event for yourself the event assumes that you're the councilor and thus targets the province you are currently in. That's still a viable option, you just have to make yourself a commander of an army and then move to the province you want to claim.

That explains where i was going wrong then! I found a new way around it eventually though :)
