horse heir not valid

i had a child with my horse wife, his name was "RED PONY" he was a my 4th child, and only surviving after the plague. so i died due to being incapable, and i lose the game, even though he is my child? he was in my court, and is my heir, so what?!

Horses are infertile and being infertile disqualify from inheritance.

Women over 45 are infertile too, but they're not disqualified.

Edit: Plus if the guy had a kid with his horse wife then at the very least some horses aren't infertile.

Actually they aren't infertile, since I had 3 horse children, whom all had a fertility rating of 90%

AFAIK horse trait:
a) give you -1000% fertility
b) prohibit you from holding ANY title.

So either you're playing modded game, somehow abused console (and it could broke everything) or "stupid" events have own horses using own traits&rules. In that case - sorry I never play with stupid events on after looked into files what they're doing :)

b) prohibit you from holding ANY title.

Clearly you have never used this mechanic, glitterhoof has that trait, and is infertile, but some other horses don't have that trait and act like normal human characters with random fertility, please stop talking and replying to things you don't actually understand.

Then post some screenshots lol. If you're 100% sure your "heir" lacked horse trait then we need to check your succession laws & dynasty. As if pony WAS your heir but you get game over - this mean he wasn't member of your dynasty. Martilineal marriage? Bastard?

CEO of not actually reading the OP, the game is over, I can't take screenshots, nope, he wasn't a Bastard nor Of a Martilineal marriage, his portrait was simply a horse, but everything else is human.

I only know of that single horse trait and it gives -5000% fertility, not -1000%. Not that the dfiference matters.

All right, but can you at least explain what makes a character a horse? Is there any trait for it, except the one that makes infertile? Or how to get a fertile horse in the first place?

More information is needed mate, my dynasty turned to bears and horses just fine. And this is vanilla multiplayer moreover.

The Horse portrait is literally a horse, yes there is a horse trait which makes them infertile, but only glitterhoof has it, all other horses don't.

You get fertile horses by them joining your court randomly, they will slowly add more horses to their court, marry a horse, and have horse babies
