How do I find out crown authority of other realms?
I know I can find out the succession laws by mousing over a country's crest but how do I find out the country's crown authority? Is there a way to do that?

One reason I'm asking tihs question is I'm occasionally asked to vote on a nearby kingdom's crown laws and while I'm told what level the proposed authority law is I'd like to know if I'm voting the authority "up" or "down." Also, while I'm on the subject, any thoughts or strategies about this aspect of the game? I tend to just click "Ignore" but is there some benefit to voting yay or nay? If I agree with the ruler will he like me more (i.e. be more likely to help out if we have an alliance?) Anything like that?

don't believe it give any reputation boost, only thing i can think of is you'd like to boost crown authority for primogeniture in your own duchy (or if you intend to conquer this kingdom)

I am pretty sure the event tells you if your voting it up or down.... As for agreeing to vote I don't believe it will effect your relations with the person who's title's you are holding..... He or she is simply not going to like you unless you manage to keep said title for a 100 years and make it de jure inside of your own kingdom.... about all you can do is have your chancelor improve relations!

You can view crown laws by using the map mode for de jure kingdoms or de jure empires.

As Zann said, use the map mode for de jure kingdoms and empires. And agreeing does not increase your relationship and disagreeing does not hinder it.

I look at their vassals opinion to see if it says e.g. Limited CA: -10 relation

In the event that you are required to vote, you can check laws tab and click on the coat of arms of the title in question.

In all other cases, de-jure kingdom and de-jure empire modes show everything you need.

I see a couple of people suggesting the laws tab as having the answer. The laws tab (I assume you guys mean the tab on the upper left near my portrait?) only pertains to kingdoms that I own, correct? I need to find out the crown authority laws for realms I DON'T own. E.g., I'm playing a Danish king being asked bythe king of Norway to vote for his CA.

Also, maybe I'm dense or something but I don't see how the de jure map mode tells me the CA level of foreign realms, either. Is there a color code pertaining to CA level that I'm not aware of? I must say I feel really stupid that I can't figure this out.

On the map mode of de jure kingdoms or de jure empires, did you hover your mouse over Norway? On your Laws page of Denmark, did you click on the coat of arms for Norway?

As said previously, de jure Kingdoms/Empires map filter.
Hover over a province and it'll tell you the de jure (or de facto) crown law that applies to it.

As Zann said, look for the Norwegian CoA. You can only see CoAs of the titles that you have an influence (or that have an influence on) you. Like you can see Danish CoA because it is your kingdom, Scandinavian CoA (if it exists) because you are de-jure part of Scandinavia, Norwegian CoA because you hold lands in de-jure Norway and thus have a say in its politics and so on.

Ohhhhh! Hover over those foreign coats of arms WHILE in the laws tab! Why didn't you all say so?! Lol! Sorry, took another round of responses for it to sink in! Thanks all! Especially Racketeer for explaining about the de juire Scandinavian realms and why I can see them but not others. So much about the game is becoming clearer now.
