While I won't comment on contents of this mod or how I know said contents, if do decide to get this, know that it is something you play at night, with the lights out, and nobody in house to sneak in on you.

But on serious note, I would recommend Warmongers and rebels. It's in the workshop too, so no reason to visit another.... site.
Darkworld doesn't seem to be in the workshop?

considering you have an el Greco as avatar, you deserve my best advice.

the most RP fun i had with a mod was oddly with the middle earth mod found on modDB.

simply because you can play characters that live long without cheating or breaking balance.
This allows to really build a relationship with your family members and other families, kings, etc.

slowly a real story builds up and speeding up the game at speed 4 does not eat up a quarter of your evironment's life.

humans live the regular 70(some live longer, up to 120), elves last 800 years , dwarves 400 etc.

there are of course added quests, events and the like.

CK 2 Darkworld

No AGOT is beter, while CK 2 Darkworld the pervy exceeded a bit into gross.
I wish they would have tomed down a bit, go back into ♥♥♥♥♥♥. instead of hardcore BS.
You got internet for that a zillion sites to watch those BS.

It doesn´t mean some system from dark world ain´t fun.
It definetly is, some of the events are quite original in design. and still not finished.
Same as the pokemon system of slavery isn´t finished.

But AGOT is quite good for RP especially if you can set up someplace away from all the wars and bugs. and slowly build your Empire aside from the occassional irritating raiders.

The one with less bugs if you like Elder Scrolls is Elder Kings very stable and fun to build up your dynasty. really well done new potraits and balance features. (too balanced for me)

Basically if you like RP get secret society. activate it only when you got a established kingdom then the fun begins. (don´t start with secret society at duke or lower level. it might mess up the game a lot)

Well I personally mod my own stuff for RP should work on base CK2 game again.
But it so much work fixing it up for the next patch to come and break everything.
But modding AGOT is quite fun too, especially for own use.

Sounds cool, but how can I make my own mods?

To understand modding is first understanding consoling. a lot of things are possible in consoling that doesn´t require you to edit the savegame constant or mod base file stuff.

So basically is understanding the events. what think is cool.
Example the Eugenic program is one of the biggest asset of CK2 it takes half the stats from mom and dad. then slowly be increased in fixed interval from age 0-16.
Some events has been taken out that are available in old version of CK2 that just need a simple cut and paste and remodify to activate them again.

Like the child asking for a council job at 16 then at 18 they improve there profession.
Or childeren asking to join holy orders or merc companies etc.
A lot of modding involves basically base event modding to ad your prefered playable culture (I say culture not religion) to certain events.

Want to get viking trait as none Norse Religion, mod it in the events.
Paradox did overhaul a lot of stuff to work with those factions or cultures etc that allows stuff.
That was the best thing ever.

Now for mods like AGOT who already have a lot of SUBmod.
Things become easier cause you don´t like something change it. it requires a lot of work.
but that is up to your imagination. example I have combined AGOT cogenital some Dark world stuff and secret society.

Am bussy modding clothes choices to allow more variety into my favorite culture or faction I want to play. the game is really easy to mod stuff, without even hacking the base game.

But if you like to play a emperor/ruler of the world. then I do recommend not to do such a thing.
It is usually I like to play from count and onvward (some cases even as baron in Merchant Republic) cause for example AGOT as King or Emperor in established realms.

You have so much to do, that certain options like Dark world events instead of enriching the game. Totally puts you into panic mode :P Playing for example in AGOT westeros as the King of the 7 kingdoms. is like being the person who head is going to get chopped off at any moment notice :P

Especially with them able to hire faceless men ;)

Look if you want to understand modding, just use C++ notepad. really you do need that.
Cause it corrects a lot of errors you make in basic notebad with spacing and tabbing.

Go into defines. with C++ notepad and you can even set back the old stuff like Assassinate.
More Demesne more commanders etc. it has even full explanation in defines what most features or trigger does.
