WTF is this log in?

So all sudden I have to log in to an account? It's through Steam.... -scowls- so I go make one, then I log in, game still wont freaking launch, just goes back to desk-top. This is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

I have no idea what you're talking about. IIRC the Paradox account thing has been on the launcher for quite a while but it was never necessary to log in to play.

What gives you the impression that you HAVE to log in? You are offered the opportunity of logging in, but it is not enforced in the slightest.

Paradox is using that 'Log In' to steal your identity and make you purchase thousands of games you don't want.

Yes, I noticed the login after I bought Conclave. I've not been playing with Conclave now and the login has gone away. What is it a login to? It appears optional but it's still there asking me to login...

My problem with it is that my username and password for Paradox's website both include underscores and the number six, both of which are broken on my keyboard :(
