I’d advise you raise tribal authority as quickly as possible, as I assume you’re a Catholic, and as such you don’t get any negatives from having higher tribal authority.
Another way to convert to feudal would be to somehow gain feudal lands (lands such as to otherwise make one feudal, a castle that is count tier) then convert that (aforementioned county) to the capital, but you still need to upgrade all other counties (or to be more precise, each tribal holding) the slow way (where the slow way is described above, upgrading each tribe to have a Stone Fort, then clicking (convert to castle).
Edits (in brackets) for the benefit of Christmas Potajto, who could understand nought. Hopefully this helps.
Another way would be to press the "adopt feudalism" intrigue option. This decision also converts tribes to castles and sometimes spawns cities and temples.
You can press this decision if you are vassal to a feudal or if you have max tribal authority. You also need to fulfill either if these requirements :
1.) Has castle in vassalage in capital county and is a wasssal
2.) your capital is a castle
3.) your capital is a tribe with lvl 4 hillfort.
What do you mean by this?
Conquer county with castle -> make castle capital -> become feudal
Not really hard to understand, unless you insist on not "understanding" what people mean when they say "feudal lands"
a: conquer a county from a feudal lord which has a castle. make that county your capital. congrats you now have a castle and can become feudal.
b: klick on the tribal holding in your capital county and choose the hillfort option. first will be earth hillfort, then you get wood hillfort, after this you get reinforced hillfort and the fourth and last upgrade will be the stone hillfort. so, upgrade your hillfort to max level. and then you can also adopt feudalism.
(in either case for adopting feudalism, you also need the absolute tribal organisation law as well as a religion that is not unreformed pagan)
Considering that a lot of people mean different things by the terms "feudal" or "feudal land" and there is no established 1 definition for it, it is quite hard to understand what the other guys mean by these terms especially if they don't really understand the mechanics of this game and call all the other mechanics in weird ways aswell.
I want to understand, if i didn't i wouldn't reply or kept saying something like don't listen to this guy, he can't play, or something similar
Also please explain this part
In this part it is evident that he is talking about counties and not holdings, but how can you upgrade a county besides random buffs?
The guy from whom you Conquer the castle does not have to be feudal.
I think that the castle has to be your capital, it isnt enghout just to have it in the same county unless you're also a vassal.
Also if youre pressing the intrigue decision to adopt feudalism as a vassal to someone with feudal or Republican government, you do not have to have the max tribal organization law.
99% of the people talking about "feudal lands" in regards to CK2 mean EXACTLY that.
Plus somebody EXPLICITLY explained exactly THAT to you in another thread.
Wich makes your feigned ignorance nothing but an attempt of trolling, same as your "nation"-discussions you try to unrail every thread with, when somebody uses it for "indpendent realm"
Funny bait-attempt buddy, but I'm not gonna play your stupid little game.
If you actually read at least few posts without using those filters of yours you would notice that different people different meanings even if they are using 1 term.
I have a strong feeling that youre trying to troll, or you are one of those people that saved the first thing they heard and now try to propagate their belief unto others.
