ck2 to eu4 converter isnt working

everytime i export my save and then check eu4 i get nothing i see the saves in my ck2 mod folder but nothing is happening

I think you have to move the file over to your eu4 folder. I think all it does is make the save game compatible with eu4. It doesn’t put it in the appropriate folder.

I’ve never used it but it wouldn’t make sense for one program to run a file converter and then drop it in a entirely different programs folder.

It doesn't create a save game for EU. It creates basically a mod for EU that you need to enable in the EU launcher.

i also have this question if you say it makes a mod where would that be located in ck2 files and what would it be named/look like???

It's not in the ck2 files. It's a mod for EU4 and it should be in the EU4 mod folder. As I remember it will be named after the country you played in ck2. Might have had something else in the name too.

i must have too many mods on ck2 cause only 2 mods are in the eu4 folder and i only sub to 2 mods for eu4

it also seems to have vanished from the store.

having bought the EU4 bundle on HB the other day I was hoping to pick it up in the next sale.

As far as i know the converter is not updated to the current patch of EU4.

It's not broken, it's not updated to the current version so you need to roll back to the versions of CK II and EU IV the converter is updated for. Otherwise while it may spit something out there will be plenty of really weird things in the resulting file.

if it doesnt work for current version of ck2 and eu4 then yes it is broken its not a community made mod its made by paradox something we pay for so it should work with current versions which it doesnt so yes it is very very much broken
