IF the start up menu on 1920x1080 is 'tiny' for you, then mods won't help you and it's a local issue. Mods only change text or window/frame size, not the size of icons or buttons.
Hmm..try this (if it doesn't help, simply undo again):
Change the screen mode in Game Options-Video to Fullscreen or Borderless and check both times if it helps. You have to quit and restart to check it.
If changing to either screen mode doesn't help try this:
Got to the games folder in Steam /steamapps/common/Ck2 and right click ck2game.exe.
Choose Properties, go to the Compatibility tab and check "Disable scaling on high DPI settings".
Hey, thanks for the comment, but unfortunately neither solutions worked. Nothing happened when I changed the video settings, and when I disabled scaling on high DPI settings the menu went to the normal size, but in game all ui was still small.
Another thing I've forgotten to mention is that the steam overlay is also equally small, but for all games.
Basically I had to change my screen setting in-game to fullscreen as opposed to borderless, so that I had the option o changing the in-game resolution settings. I then changed to to 2048:1152. My comps resolution settings also had to be changed to 2048:1152 so that the screens are I guess synced up.
I think ck2 just doesn't adapt well to higher resolutions, which is really annoying, but at least I can play now.
