How can i convert my merchant republic to feudal?
Hey guys! So in my current save, as a merchant republic i have taken over all of ireland the year is currently 872 start date was the 7-- start date. All of the proviences are all cities, with only a castle here and there on some of the proviences. Anyways, how do i covert into a feudal rulership from merchant republic

not sure if its a bug or intentional, but you can have a landed feudal dynasty member become doge and it should make your realm into a feudal one. not a good idea if you own an empire's worth of republics as they will all have the "wrong government" malus towards you...

Usual way is to design a castle as capital of the county (right click on the castle), then design it as capital of the realm. You must own the castle at start. If you dont build one, or revoke a baron. Now, it s theory. I never played as Doge to test it.
