I have pretty much all the DLCs....how do you post a screenshot here?
Like this (for a different game, since I've got no shots uploaded yet).

And are you sure the Claim on Capua is fabricated (as in acquired by your chancelor for lots of money) and not inherited in some way?
Positive. I was playing as Mathilda DiCanossa, and I don't start out inheriting that title.
However, I continued playing after I posted this and now I'm her son, but I still have a claim.
I can't find the screenshot uploader. I'll try finding it again later today when I have more time.
Without conclave that would be dependant on crown authority in the HRE.
Also, just to tick off that checkbox: if the claim is a weak claim, it can only be pressed under certain circunstances (e.g. regency or female title holder).
You did say that the claim was fabricated. Those are strong claims but they are also not inheritable so you would have lost it upon succession unless you declared war over that claim before.
I can't show you what is was like when I was Mathilda, but the character in question is her son. How he inherited the fabricated claim, I don't know, but as Mathilda I couldn't declare ware on Capua even though it was a strong claim when it was fabricated.
No, and I wasn't related to or married into his family in anyway. Also, it said "No valid Casus belli" meaning it said I didn't have a reason to declare.
It's a claim on the duchy title, not on the county and the duchy doesn't exist in the 1066 bookmarks. So unless it was created in your game, you have the wrong CB.
The Cremona issue is a bug in 2.6x, where you can't declare a dejure war on one-county vassals of the same liege.
Ah, that clears things up, thanks. For some reason I always thought you'd only fabricate a claim if someone owned it.
