African face paint on byzantine characters?
In a couple of my playthroughs ive played as byzantium/rome and ive noticed some of my characters in my court seem to get african facepaint on their portraits and I was wonder how/why this is. for further context I usually am reformed hellenic in these playthroughs if that affects anything.

Did you choose Animism as a reform doctrine?

Also when I go into debug mode it mentions something like african_initaition_low, and i dont belive i chose animism but ill look into that
