Becoming an adventurer?
Is there any way to edit the save file to create a temp title and become an adventurer. I would just go look myself but I can never find adventures in any of my games.

no you cannot be an adventurer because you have to play a character that is landed

If the adventurer succeeds at taking some land, then you can play as that person after saving it, or simply by opening the console and typing charinfo so you can get the character ID# and then type play #### - where #### is the character ID# of the former adventurer/now landowner. But until he takes land, the adventurer has a "titular" title only, similar to the leader of a revolt; and those are not playable.

You can play as adventures. It's been done by Arumba on youtube. You just lose the temp title if you lose the war.

you cant just have a temporary title (which is what adventurers have and rebels both landed and unlanded have) because thats not how the engine works

A temporary title is any not-real title. Obviously. I mean: A revolt leader is also a temporary title. And you can be a revolt leader.
But you can't have only a temporary title. You must be, at least, a count (except for the republic, then you only need your mansion in the capital). If you don't have any land title (you can have all the non-landed titles you want), you lose. Always.
About this question, I think you can do a trick in a non-ironman mode. As I said in another post, you can have some members of your family (or courtiers) who can become adventurers. I'll relate my experience and then my idea.
I conquered, with a norse, a few counties in Ireland (one or two, I think I didn't take over three). After that, Scotland and the other counties in Ireland declared me holy war and get me out of there. But, I had that territories, so I had a claim and a few members in my family inherited the claims. So, a few years later, one of my... sons? maybe was my brother? become an adventurer to conquer again Ireland. Of course, I wanted that territory as vassal, so I gave him a county (well, it was a grand city, but it's the same).
My idea is: When you give him a title and make him your vassal, he's an adventurer but has a land, so you can play with him choosing him when loading the game. But you can't do it in ironman mode.
