Reset UI size?

Experimenting with UI size after the PC moved to the lounge and trying to play on a 42" TV where the text is microscopic. Set it to 3x but now can't get passed the initial "Welcome To Crusader Kings 2" screen - all the clickable areas are below the bottom of the screen.

Any way to reset in-game options outside of the game?

Documents > Paradox > CK2 (you'll recognize the exact folder names), delete configuration/.ini files even without reinstalling the game. Or edit them.

At the above location, open settings.txt
change the scaling related parts to this

gui_scale=1.000000
gui_scale_min=1.000000
gui_scale_max=3.000000
gui_scale_font_replacement=1.010000
