Appcrash for CK2GAME.EXE

Read several forum entries for this. Nothing seems to work.

I am running on Windows 7 (but tried under compatibility for Vista too--with same error). Tried running CK2game.exe directly as Administrator. Nothing.

I have a 64 bit machine if that matters. Windows Update is completely up to date. Have totally uninstalled, re-installed. Have run .NET tools. Nothing.

Maybe there's a 32 bit vs. 64 bit issue. If so, don't know how to fix it.

Game works fine on Win 7 and 64 bit.
Do not run it in any compatibility mode.

"Totally uninstalling" means that there's not folder left or at least no file in a CK2 folder, thus
you have to do it manually.

Submit a request ticket at Paradox support:

Add a directx diag if possible and tell them if the game did run before or not.
