Does HF break Charlemagne's event to burn down pagan holy site?
During his war againts the saxons, charlemagne has the option to burn down a pagan holy site, this was reflected in later starting dates where said site didnt appear on map anymore, tho I've noticed that since the HF patch the germanic site appears even in later start dates which leads me to ask the tittle question.
I tried doing a charlemagne run to see wether it did or didnt but im not very good at the game and sorta still a noob so I didnt get too far before getting 60 vassal revolts.
Thx in advanced for any info.

Charlemagne start is jacked, the player can't even form the HRE.

In my game as a pagan in Denmark, he definitely burned down the tree. It doesn't remove the county as a holy site, it just affects pagan morale/religious authority.

Yeah, torching Irminsul doesn't mean they get knocked down to 4 holy sites. Brunswick will always be a norse holy site.

Were people able to form it before? I thought that Germania was simple renamed to HRE and then a couple duchies would DeJure transfer to it as it happens with Sicily when you form Italy

I can't absolutely swear to it, but I don't think it ever removed it from the map. Germanics have always had 5 holy sites.

no dude, if you click on the religion tab and then o a specific religion, their holy sites are showed as white, I remember being amazed when I got the message and then saw their holy site dissapear

Yeah I know, but for me the holy site is still there after the tree was burnt.

Really don't believe this was ever the case.

It never removed the holy site. It just caused sadness to all the Germanic Pagans.

If you remember the holy site disappearing, then it was either a mod or a flawed memory.

Supposedly the DLC adds the option for pagans to create "pillars" which can be burned by non-pagans (not sure if by event or by decision). Irminsul is supposed to fall into that category now. If you're not seeing it, maybe the pagans didn't build a pillar, or someone else burned it, or you're looking in the wrong place for the "burn" option. IDK...
