Finally UI Scaling!

Holy Fury gave us UI Scaling. I use 2.0 settinf for a 39" 4k TV, but i really like that it is customizable, so my 2540x1440 25" also benefits from it. Nice job Paradox!

does this mean you can change the resolution in game .Instead of changing your desk top resolution.(crossing fingers)

No, but you can now not have to switch your resolution when playing the game and there's scaling in the options 1.30-1.5 is the best for us 4k users...

We were told it couldn't be done.

Just tryed it out. Hallelujah it works really nice can finally read everything.I have been yelling about this for a lonng time ;-). Now if they could give us better looking castles on the map I will be content.

I love the UI Scaling.

There are a few issues with the right-click popups tho. They often overflow off screen. And I've had a case where the popup appeared far away from my cursor (probably based on the mouse's position multipled by the scaling).

I don't know how to report these (if they aren't already reported).

On the official forum in the CK2 Bug Report subforum, which requires an account and the game registered by connecting and synch'ing with Steam.

I tried changing it to every value between 1.50 and 1.10. Everything was blurry for me unfortunately.

Cool. I've been straining to read things. I need new glasses but I'm too busy playing CK2--
But it looks like it pushes the Nomad pillage dialog off screen. Oh well.

You can fix the blurry UI problem by downloading ReShade (https://reshade.me/), and installing it with the AdaptiveSharpen plug-in. It will mean a slight performance hit, but the UI will be sharp and big at the same time. This will help in other games with this kind of simple UI scaling, e.g. Rimworld.
