Warning: Bug with the Slavic Union

You are unable to form the Slavic Union if you allow the Warriors of Peruin to create a castle in your lands. This counts as part of the kingdom, and you do not have control over it, so you can't form the union. Really annoying, since you can't get them back if you kick them out, and it hurts your piety and slavic moral authority.

You have to have control of Poland, Bohemia, and all of the Empire of Russia, then you can form the Slavic Union. Sort of like a Polish roman empire sort of thing. But you need total control of all the provinces in the de jure area or you cant form it. Having a holy order castle, in a de jure land that you can't control without kicking them out, breaks the Union.

Interesting, I might try to do it sometime. Now, do you form it through decision in the intrigue menu? I'm trying to find it in the game files to see what could be your problem.

So update, I'm guessing the "Slavic Union" is kept under the title "e_lechczechrus" and I don't see anything related to a Holy Order on the decion file.

To be able to see the decision you need your culture to be russian, polish, bohemian, volhynian, ilmenian, severian or pommeranian and be King or Emperor.

And to be able to form it you need 5000 prestige, be at peace, not be incapable and completely control k_bohemia, k_poland, k_galicia-volhynia, k_ruthenia, k_chernigov, k_vladimir and k_rus.

nothing about a Holy Order...

Also it says that if you control k_pomerania it will also be added to de jure e_lechczechrus.

It's absolutely the same if you're trying to get SPQR and have the Orthodox holy order chiling in your lands.

there are several decisions in the game that require full control of de jure and won't work if you have indpendent minors (like holy order castles) in your realm.

easiest solution is usually to vassalize the holy order so they are no longer independent but count as a part of your realm. some holy orders have scripted prerequisites for being vassalized.

you can usually also vassalize them by granting them kingdom tier title (when you're an emperor of course) - that automatically makes them your vassal. you can later also revoke that kingdom title if you need it for something else.

I've got problem with Kingdom of Chernigov - you just unable to take full control over it. I've checked evething that lay inside it's de jure borders - shrines, castles, cities, countries - all of them are my vassals in one way or another. I even managed to vassalize Holy Order, and yet there is still no mark of full control.

I suggest this is a bug.

One of the holdings belongs to the other liege (as in not your vassal) most likely. Can be one temple or smth. Sneaky vassals with their claims on a single holding in a county.

Unlikely.
Could be a single holding as mentioned, but also only a higher title, like a duchy title held by someone outside your realm.

Do you use Conclave ? Because if, then a player without can't load it.
