Was there a change to matrilineal marriage?
I had no male heirs, so when my King died, his daughter became Ruler. Now that the new ruler married and had a child, I noticed the child is not apart of my ruling dynasty. Whats up with that?

I've not had a problem with this yet. Is it truly a matrilineal marriage?

You cant change regular marriage to matrilineal once it happened already. Divorce and re-marry. A little plot will do as well.

If they were matrillineal, the reason it isn't of your dynasty is because it is likely a bastard child or the husband is paranoid and basically refused to acknowledge the kid. thus making him not of the dynasty.

Your husband still has to believe the kid is his for it to be a dynasty member even though he doesn't wear the pants in the realtionship.

The non dynasty child is likely a child of infidelity.

There is the new "churching" event (where a woman after birth goes to confession before returning to the church) that is slightly bugged at the moment and can mark the kid as a bastard.
