Can you delete event troops?

Aztecs invade l. Both stacks land in England and quickly conquer the islands in four months.

The new ruler allowed me to keep my entire duchy of Essex, so its interesting...but he has 180k unstoppable event troops...

The nearby empire of Francia can only muster maybe 20k.

Is there a way to delete the aztec doom stacks until they have like a single 30k stack or is everything FUBAR?

Is there a console command for that?

i usually deal with this by deactivating that garbage DLC. I don't know console commands but are you playing ironman? im pretty sure if you are playing ironman mode console commands dont work.

I like the dlc because it breaks up the eastern catholic blocks pretty well. I normally turn it on when I also enable supernatural events because realism is shot anyway. I've just never had them land quite so early lmao.

Even if all of europe united against them they couldn't event remotely match 180k for another few centuries, and none of the aztec vassals could ever do anything woth 0.01% faction strength.

I just want to leave em with like 30k lol

If you aren't playing ironman and they have a county this is what you do. Save your game, start it again but before loading click on the aztec ruler and click play as him. Dismiss the stacks at will, save your game but don''t overwrite your other save. Load the save game but as your character again. And tada the stacks are gone.

Keep time paused if you do this because the ai will start doing stuff the second you let time start.

Aztec doomstacks take attrition damage. Nevertheless they will conquer themselves to death. In each war they will lose some of their event troops. Eventually they are weak enough for their vassals to consider rebellion.

Use play charID command to play as them, destroy the troops, use the play command again to get back to your original ruler. Save right before in case you accidently unpause during the process and AI ruins your original character.

You can of course do it as TheLastGameCube explained, but that takes more time.

The army units of the aztecs come in 11000 sizes, going bythe event file, so 33000
should be doable.

If you're willing to use console commands, switch over to the azetcs and stand down their doomstack.

ive never really had a problem with aztecs, by the time they show up, ive usually got the mongols beaten back, and my forces are large enough that i can snipe them with boats when they land and attack the coastal counties.

i think ive had it once where both waves of aztecs hit me, but i still beat them back with the boat sniping strat
