Going from petty kingdom to kingdom?
So i started of as the petty kingdom of kent..about 90 years on i still have kent and about 9 other regions under myself and my vassals control. How do go up from being a petty kingdom? I read some thread saying you have to type a kingdom into the 'find titles' tab but i found nothing even after searching 'kingdom' or 'kingdom of england'..

click the shield for one of your counties click the de jure box and click on the shield for the kingdom title and hover over create. It will tell you what you need.

On the bottom bar, there's a button that shows you the de jure kingdoms. Click it. Then you have to own 51% of the holdings in the kingdom in order to form it.

Indeed there is both a de jure map mode and you can click on shields like Valentine said. Click the shield of Kent, check the de jure box and then ckick on England and hover your mouse over the create (or usurp if someone owns it) button. There it will state the needed requirements. Usually you'll need 51% of the kingdom lands and 2 duchy (petty kingdom) titles.

But keep in mind that as a duke you can only have counts as vassals so, if you need to create more duchy titles, keep them all to yourself until you're an actual king. The same goes with heirs. If you are still in gavelkind succession and get multiple duchies then they will be spread between your kids and each one will go independent.

"Petty kingdom" is just another name for a duchy for a few cultures. count > duke > king > emperor. In order to form a kingdom, you must control at least 51% of the de jure land of the kingdom, and hold two duchy titles. A somewhat quick way to locate what you're looking for is to click your character portrait in the upper left, then click on your title shield below your character (the duchy or petty kingdom of Kent), and then click that little checkbox that says "de jure" next to it. You'll see the little shields to the right of the title name that will show you whether that title belongs to a dejure duchy/kingdom/empire. In your case, it will show you England and Empire of Britannia. You can click either shield to then see those titles.
