All my leaders pass away in their 20's ... they live just long enough to have a son and ... gone. Regency again for 15 more years:-(

Are you sure that they're passing away naturally?
My kings tend to die in their 50s or 60s
Dont make them a commander.

Move your capital whenever a disease's in it,you can change it right back after the disease's over in that province if its the traditional capital (Middlesex for England,Paris for France etc.)

Regency time sucks. Not as bad as it used to some time ago, but still there are some things that are badly implemented imo... You used to be able to get out of them by paying for assassinations and getting yourself killed in the retaliations. Too bad it was removed...

I do have a hospital in my court province and a court physician. Just bad luck I guess. I have to admit that the last one was a seductor and had a lot of sexual intercourses. Died of syphilis.

Most diseases aren't worth the penalties of shutting your gates for if you ask me. Black Death, sure. Other stuff? Maybe if you have a dynasty small enough that you could risk getting game over from 1-2 deaths.

Be careful which physician you choose though. The interesting characters spawned by the event get sent down the road half the time because I'd rather have a 16 or 18 learning priest take care of my court than a one-eyed 12 learning mystic lunatic.
