Pyramids?

I was just about to reform a pagan faith when I noticed that the ability to build pyramids was one of the options for doctrines. Anyone seen/built a pyramid yet and can say how this holds up against other doctrines?

Does not hold up very well, IMO. The pyramids do not offer as good boosts as some other wonders which are available to everyone. Note that this is based upon reading some fairly bare bones guides and a cursory glance through the game files, so there may be something awesome about the pyramids that I have missed.

In other words, don't quote me on this, and don't get mad at me if I'm mistaken. ;)

What I do know though is that Lunatic characters can build pyramids as well. So you could just use the doctrine slot for something else, and go Lunatic once with a character and build your pyramid(s). :)
