How do you kidnap the pope

I want to read the pope bad poetry until he goes insane but I don't know how to get him into my dungeon

If your pagan that allows raiding, raid time over and over as well is an option.

I believe there is a society that allows to you to plot to kidnap as well.

Or be his vassal (or generally in the same realm) and use the intrigue focus "spy on" choice on him.

As a Norse raider Harald Fairhair in 867, you can conquer the Italian county of Capua, swear fealty to the Pope, then use Intrigue Focus to spy on him. Eventually, you will get an event to abduct him and imprison him.

Pretty sure this is impossible or near impossible now, though. A while back the kidnap option started caring about the status of characters, and I believe anyone higher than a duke is basically impossible to kidnap through a cult.
