Immortality and youth
Let's say my character becomes immortal in his 50's with his physical age stopped (although actual age keeps going up). Then he builds some gardens and gets access to the fountain of youth. If he drinks enough, would his portrait revert to middle age, eventually reverting to the young portrait?

the fountain of jouth just make you live a little more, once you use it and recover for example 2 years, you have to wait 4 years to use it again.
PD: the fountin only reduce age, if your body is old, then you will be physically old your eternity

I will try testing this, but i think it could, gardens seem to put your birthdate 2 years ahead, and i think that immortality is coded something like saving the date you got your immortality, and if those 2 dates get closer together, it could change it.

What are the ages when portraits change?

Portraits change at ages 16, 30, and 50.

EDIT: I actually just tested it out myself and no your portrait doesn't change. Got myself immortal at age 51 and immediately drank from the fountain to become age 49. Still stuck with old portrait.

I am glad that my guy became immortal in his 30's then. He lost an eye to Cancer and a hand to Great Pox (not even sure how he got that one) so his dueling days are long over.

Have you tried joining satanists and asking Satan to give you your hand back?

I have not, because I am a Hindu in India. Not sure I have access to the Satanists.

WHELP. looks like it is time to push the empire west!

It has been a long time since I've played in India and even longer since I've joined one of the cults. Yep! That's my reason for forgetting! haha. Thanks for the Psst!

I am a little afraid to join a cult since I don't want MORE reasons for my court to hate me (I tend to create so many ambitious rivals because I cannot pass on the opportunity to make my children ambitious.

Did you reload the save after making the change? I had an immortal character below 50, and when I left the game and came back the portrait was now that of an old man

I got immortal as a teenager once, I was like "What? cool!'
I have a 320 year old immortal, who basically gained immortality when he was in his 60s or 70s. He lost an arm, and has been disfigured, but he has over 300 combat skill, so even if he went blind he could still win. Also he lost his reproductive organs to Rabies.

One of two ways, either successfully follow a relatively rare event to completion, or cheat

Does it require a DLC though?
