And no warning about title loss. The game knew all titles go to the same character. Seems like a bug with the displayed heir for only one title.
If it is not ironman and you still happen to have a savegame: The result of "recalc_succ" might be interesting.
I agree, but at the time I didn't know if it was a bug, or something about Born in the Purple I didn't know (my granddaughter would have been the only one born AFTER I'd become emperor of Byzantium, so maybe it scooted down a generation? Who knows).
But, with a small application of infanticide, all is right with the world, and this guy can die in peace.
