CKII 3.0.1 Coat of Arms glitch

So, after the 3.0.1 update most of the Christian coat of arms for landed titles are now black. Before, in 3.0.0, I was able to delete the gfx file (the one in documents) and it more or less fixed the issue, the only black CoA were a few barony level titles. From what I read, 3.0.1 was supposed to fix the issue. But it just made it worse, and now no matter what I do the CoA's remain black. I tried going to the Paradox Plaza Bug Report forums but so far no one has offered any kind of assistence.

I think I know what the general issue is, for when I view the file for the flags only flagfile_0 has flags on it. flagfile_1 and flagfile_2 are blank, and flagfile_2 is pitch black. I have no idea how to resolve this issue, and it's really frusterating. If any of you guys have any ideas on how to resolve this issue I would be eternally greatful.

It fixed the issue.
Old save files will keep a few black flags.

That you got that issue for all and can't fix it by deleting the gfx folder in Documents sounds like an oversight form your side or a corrupt installation.

1) Do you use any COA mods ?
2) Did you start a fresh game ?
3) try alternatively deleting the gfx folder in the game files folder AS WELL, so both gfx folders and do a "verify integrity of game files" afterwards to download the files again.

I do not use any COA mods, and I deleted every single saved game I had in case that was the issue. I repeatidly uninstalled and reinstalled the game to no avail.

How do I do a verify integrity of game files? Also, do you mean delete both the gfx files, the one in the documents>paradox interactive>CKII AND the in the Steam files?

Thanks for trying. Appreciate it regardless. I do believe I know what the issue is, but the only way I can think of to fix it is for someone to send me the flag files from Documents>Paradox Interactive>Crusader Kings II>gfx>flags.

Ah you are thinking of the tga flag file replacing fix. Was that even on 3.0 or not rather an issue on an earlier patch ? Not sure if that will work
