Multiplayer doesn't work...

So I bought CK 2 to play a multiplayer game with a friend, he wouls explain the game to me, now when I try to play a game with him the whole multiplayer menu doesn't work...
I can't even host a game, no servers in the list if I fill in the server ID it doesn't work ?
Any help ?

- Make sure no firewalls or anything blocking CK from connecting

- Due to the way the checksum works, if you enter either single player, or multiplayer, then go back to the main menu, multiplayer will be greyed out. You have to restart the game entirely.

- try the refresh internet button at the bottom and see if it populates the multiplayer window with games?

- To host game press host in bottom right of multiplayer window then either load a save or begin a new game with one of the start dates.

Sorry duder, trying to help but dont know what else to tell you without knowing more about the issue. Regarding the server ID, when theres a game hosted, the host will have the ID which he needs to share to connect that way but i never have had to do it. Games always appear for me in the multiplayer window once i hit the refresh internet button.
