Autonomous works with a few other options to give you a lot of extra stats, but doesn't do a whole lot else. I'd still say that's roughly on par with Temporal though. Everyone of your religion gets the bonus stats after all.
Autocephalous is probably the weakest, but that's only because it gives you most of what Hierocratic gives you but you can only do a lot of the actions (excomms, etc) inside your own kingdom. Every other kingdom has their own religious head. It can be really good for screwing with your own vassals, but it's not as good for any external shenanigans.
As for Pagan reform, i still prefer the temporal route cuz sometimes your Hierocratic figurehead moron likes to be silly and call GHW's against some faraway duchy on the other side of the map just cuz they can.
Plus being Temporal means that you can use GHW's for your own personal use(i want to attack the HRE but too much trouble on my own, so lets call a GHW against them so i can get some free allies to help me take them down)
Most importantly tho, being temporal as the last person said means getting a free artifact and seriously, who dont like getting free sh**, amiright?
