The Last Kingdom

Hey guys,

Was just wondering if there's a mod to roleplay The Last Kingdom books. I know you can start as Wessex in CK2 but I'm looking for a mod (or a completely different game, if you know of one) that features more of the characters in the books/series. Is there such ? Please let me know. Thanks !

hmm theres a newer total war game set in the time of Alfred the Great, no idea if its good though.

It's not bad, if you like TW games.

OP, there isn't a mod covering that time period because it's the time period of the base game. There is (or was? I think it's still being updated) another mod based off the same author's works, over on the PDS forums. It was The Winter King, which is an Arthurian era series, and I can't remember what the name is off hand. It's stickied in the modding subforum though.

go for mount and blade warband: viking conquest. and add mods for taste.
